At the moment, the vast majority of this website is dedicated to Bomber Command's No.1 and No.3 Groups. Other Groups will hopefully follow.

Each of the Group's pages take the form of a diary. The diary entries give a day-by-day account of the Group's operational efforts, with details of what targets were attacked, how many aircraft were dispatched by the Group, how many were successful, how many aborted, and how many were lost. In the future, we will be offering details on each of these figures, with in-depth narratives explaining which aircraft and crews aborted and why, and which aircraft and crews were lost. Where known, these details will be augmented with the cause of the loss and how many operations the crews had flown prior to being lost.
